As 2013 screams along at jet speed heading for it's inevitable end, I'm already making plans for another year heading south. This year our destination is Orange Beach and the 11th floor of a condo overlooking the Gulf. And Perdito Pass - no pictures though until February.
Suffice to say, here's hoping the weather cooperates this year and warms the water sufficiently to bring in some better fishing. Last year it never warmed up and caught few, if any fish -
Also, having to make a decision whether to head north the end of March or find a place in Venice FL to spend April. A few years ago, when we stayed there, it was a ghost town. Now the owners have decided that the "PEAK" season should be extended to May 1st and maintain the high season rates through April. Probably will have to wait till their desperation sets in before I can get a better deal.
So now it's pick and choose what goes in the van a dozen times and try to get some degree of organization to the mess I'll be taking (fishing equipment that is)
So now to have that long delay while preparations are being made before another posting.
